I had a dream in the middle of the night
that we were in love and everything was alright
But when I decided that I had to wake up
I found myself in this nightmare of a breakup
I feel like a skeleton with no bones
Wandering around in this hell of my own

How long does it take for a man to feel okay
I’m like a ghost in my own home
I hang my head, just cry and moan
But I know if you came back to me, I’d never ever have to be
